This is the Authentic Whisky Glass from The Glencairn Crystal Co., East Kilbride, Scotland
The mark of authenticity for the lead free crystal glass is the words “The Glencairn Glass” etched on the bottom of the glass. When looking thru the glass or while drinking from it you can read those words, a pleasant reminder that you are drinking your single malt or fine whisky of choice, from the very best glass available. We sell only new, authentic lead free crystal and cut crystal Glencairn Glasses.
A note about hand blown lead crystal: With hand-blown, lead crystal of very good quality, expect some minor bubbles and swirls that are inherent to hand-blown crystal. Dimensions and weight will vary very slightly from piece to piece. These pieces are substantial in weight with excellent color and sparkle. These are engravable but we have a limited area to engrave on the upper bowl due to the cut area below.
Same day or next day shipping! If order received after Friday at 4:00 PM, it will be shipped on Monday.
The glasses arrive to us from Glencairn Crystal clean, but not sparkling. We inspect, wash and hand dry each glass, so that it arrives to you at its sparkling best, ready to be put into service. This is part of our commitment to giving you the best and most personal customer service on the internet, the kind of treatment that we would want for ourselves.

The Jacobite Dram or Toasting Glass arose out of the Jacobite Uprisings of 1688-1745, which coincidently is within some of the historical period of Diana Gabaldon's novel, Outlander. The original glass was created to toast allegiance to the then hopeful return of the Stuart monarchy, thru the efforts of Prince Charles Edward Stuart and his mainly Scottish Highland followers. Originals now sell for the equivalent of thousands of dollars at auction. This modern reproduction of the glass has been created by Glencairn Crystal, Co., East Kilbride, Scotland and is engraved by Cobhthaigh Celtique, LLC of the USA, using the sand carve method of engraving. This stunning glass is available in traditional, unengraved and semi-custom and custom engraved styles. Raise a glass and toast Scotland, a great country, culture and people, many of whom must be accredited with our own country's independence and success as a nation.
A rare bird indeed! A symbol of freedom, majesty and courage, eagles of varying types are the national birds of many countries, depicted on flags and used in heraldry throughout the world. The national bird in the USA, the bald eagle, a sea eagle, graces the bottom or side of our Glencairn Mixer Glass. Sand carve engraved on the side bowl of the glass and deep sand carve engraved on the bottom of the glass, the luminescence of its white head feathers really glow. Your Eagle Rare Single Barrel 10 y.o. and 17 y.o. Straight Kentucky Bourbon will be all the more lofty, experienced from this gorgeous glass.
Did you know that June 20th is American Eagle Day? One special non-releasable eagle, Challenger, who has lived at the American Eagle Foundation for about 25 years, has participated in the inaugural events of President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.
